I talk with Katie Mitchell Walker, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist from Arkansas. Katie runs a business called Grow and Guide Kids that’s mission is to provide parents and teachers with practical solutions they can use in their homes and classrooms. Katie is passionate about Social and Emotional Learning, much like myself, and helping kids better understand the root cause of their emotions to help them feel more in control of them. We uncover what trauma is, the parts of the brain that get affected, the different types, and how YOU can help those who are suffering.
