Choose Love Movement’s Giving Tuesday Virtual Fundraiser\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

NEWTOWN, CT, USA (November 19, 2020) — The Jesse Lewis Choose Love Movement\u2122,\u00a0www.ChooseLoveMovement.org<\/a>,\u00a0announced today a Giving Tuesday virtual fundraising event on December 1, 2020, a culminating event after the 30 days of Gratitude Campaign. This is set to be a special night of self-care, tips to overcome trauma and ideas for ultimate rejuvenation hosted by Choose Love Movement Founder, Scarlett Lewis.<\/p>\n

Registration<\/a>\u00a0is free but donations are encouraged.\u00a0Donations will be matched up to $10,000 by Choose Love partner the\u00a0Tapping Solution Foundation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This event will allow participants to practice being present and learn how to Choose Love even when it seems impossible. Hear from trauma expert Katie Walker on how to be resilient and grow through the tough times and practice EFT Tapping with Jessica Ortner for stress and anxiety relief.<\/p>\n

The fundraiser will benefit Choose Love For Schools,\u00a0the first SEL program to fully incorporate state of the art Character Social Emotional Development (CSED) model standards, while incorporating neuroscience and positive psychology to teach mindfulness, character, and emotional intelligence.\u00a0\u00a0Through donations Choose Love is available at no cost to educators.<\/p>\n

Donations help the Choose Love Movement continue providing social and emotional learning at no cost and provide much needed resources for well-being, resilience and trauma to more schools throughout the world.<\/p>\n

Jessica Ortner<\/strong>\u00a0is a stress-reduction expert and one of the leading voices teaching EFT Tapping, a revolutionary self-soothing technique that combines ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology.\u00a0Learn how you can choose love and use the powerful tool known as tapping to work your way through anxiety and overwhelming feelings.<\/p>\n

Katie Walker<\/strong> is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Registered Play Therapist and founded Grow and Guide Kids which provides parents and teachers with practical solutions they can use in their homes and classrooms. Walker helps kids better understand the root cause of their emotions to help them feel more in control of them.<\/p>\n

Jesse Lewis, a six-year-old first grader, was a victim of the Sandy Hook tragedy whose action saved the lives of nine classmates. Jesse left behind a message on a household chalkboard, \u201cNurture, Healing, Love\u201d that became the inspiration for his mother, Scarlett, to found the Choose Love Movement.<\/p>\n

The Jesse Lewis Choose Love Movement is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with a commitment to reach students, educators and individuals, nationally and internationally, and provide them with a simple, yet profound formula for choosing love.
