30 Days of Gratitude Challenge 2 – Gratitude Gourds<\/h3>\n

There\u2019s so many ways you can create a Gratitude Gourd but here’s our favorite. For an easy, creative craft that\u2019s fun for the classroom or the family, create a 3D paper pumpkin centerpiece. Everyone can make their own Gratitude Gourd with this fun and easy to make craft.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what you\u2019ll need:<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Orange and Green Construction Paper<\/li>\n
  • Toilet paper or paper towel cardboard tube<\/li>\n
  • Tape<\/li>\n
  • Markers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Instructions:<\/h4>\n

    Step 1: Cut the orange paper into 1\u2033 strips, about 8-10 for each pumpkin.<\/p>\n

    Step 2: Write something that you are thankful for in the middle of each of the paper strips.<\/p>\n

    Step 3: Cut the cardboard roll as tall as you would like your pumpkin to be.\u00a0 The shorter the roll, the wider the pumpkin will be.\u00a0 Then cover the roll with a strip of orange paper and use tape to secure it into place.<\/p>\n

    <\/p>\n

    Step 4: Tape one end of the orange paper strips inside to one of the ends of the roll. Repeat with the other end of the paper strip and roll.<\/p>\n

    Step 5: Cut out a green leaf and tape it into the hole at the top of the pumpkin.<\/p>\n

    Step 6: (Optional) Wrap a strip of paper around a pencil and hold it until it holds a curl and tape it next to the leaf.<\/p>\n
