Andrew R. Crumbie is the founder and owner of Crumbie Law Group, LLC. Prior to establishing the firm, Andrew had a distinguished 20-year career in state and federal law enforcement. His experience includes serving as a Detective, Sergeant, and Chief of Staff to the Commissioner of the Connecticut State Police, and later in a Deputy Commissioner role managing the Division of Scientific Services. Andrew also served as a Task Force agent with the FBI, where he worked closely with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Connecticut. 

Andrew’s law enforcement experience spans high-level investigations into white-collar and violent crimes.  While managing the Forensic Science and Toxicology Laboratories, Andrew helped develop Connecticut’s first Computer Crime and Electronic Evidence Lab. His work included serving with world-renowned forensic scientist Dr. Henry Lee and training international law enforcement agencies. 

Following the events of September 11, 2001, as State Police Sergeant, Andrew assisted in the development of best practices and anti-terror policies for the DPS, and Department of Homeland Security for implementation at Bradley International Airport in Connecticut. 

Andrew holds a J.D. from the Massachusetts School of Law, where he received the Massachusetts Black Judges Conference Book Award for academic achievement. He also holds a Master’s in Business Management from Cambridge College and has been appointed to several prominent legal and community boards and was recognized as a High Achiever in the “Lawyers of Color” feature in the Connecticut Law Tribune.
