Andrew R. Crumbie<\/strong> is the founder and owner of Crumbie Law Group, LLC. Prior to establishing the firm, Andrew had a distinguished 20-year career in state and federal law enforcement. His experience includes serving as a Detective, Sergeant, and Chief of Staff to the Commissioner of the Connecticut State Police, and later in a Deputy Commissioner role managing the Division of Scientific Services. Andrew also served as a Task Force agent with the FBI, where he worked closely with the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office for the District of Connecticut.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Andrew\u2019s law enforcement experience spans high-level investigations into white-collar and violent crimes. \u00a0While managing the Forensic Science and Toxicology Laboratories, Andrew helped develop Connecticut\u2019s first Computer Crime and Electronic Evidence Lab. His work included serving with world-renowned forensic scientist Dr. Henry Lee and training international law enforcement agencies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Following the events of September 11, 2001, as State Police Sergeant, Andrew assisted in the development of best practices and anti-terror policies for the DPS, and Department of Homeland Security for implementation at Bradley International Airport in Connecticut.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Andrew holds a J.D. from the Massachusetts School of Law, where he received the Massachusetts Black Judges Conference Book Award for academic achievement. He also holds a Master\u2019s in Business Management from Cambridge College and has been appointed to several prominent legal and community boards and was recognized as a High Achiever in the \u201cLawyers of Color\u201d feature in the Connecticut Law Tribune.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
