Bridgeport, CT (January 27, 2017)<\/strong>\u2014For more than 8 years, Peralta Design\u2019s mission has been to help others start and launch their own businesses. With its new location in suite 418 at 2 Enterprise Drive in Shelton, owner and founder Ramon Peralta hopes his own business will continue to grow.<\/p>\n

In 2008, after years of working for Walker Digital, Peralta found himself briefly without employment and took the opportunity to try something new.<\/p>\n

\u201cI spent 10 years starting companies,\u201d Peralta said. \u201cSo I felt like it was time for me to start my own company. It\u2019s been growing ever since 2008. I started out in my basement taking small jobs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Peralta then moved on to a location in downtown Shelton, where for six years he was actively involved in helping individuals start their own business. Peralta said when someone brings the company an idea, a non-disclosure agreement is signed to protect that client\u2019s rights.<\/p>\n

From there, Peralta said they will figure out how to monetize the idea, who the audience is, who the competitors could be and what technology they will use to launch it. But the most important part of test launching a business is to minimize the launch cost, Peralta said. Peralta Design will also create a logo and a color palette for its clients.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe consider it a long-term relationship,\u201d Peralta said.<\/p>\n

Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce President Bill Purcell said he has been very impressed with Peralta Design\u2019s growth.<\/p>\n

\u201cRamon [Peralta] is an extraordinary entrepreneur with a creative mind and a big heart,\u201d Purcell said. \u201cI have observed with great interest and pride, the evolution of Ramon\u2019s business. What started as a home-based business has grown to occupy a beautiful space in the heart of Shelton\u2019s corporate community.\u201d<\/p>\n

And in comparison to the previous location, the new location \u2014 part of R.D. Scinto\u2019s Enterprise Corporate Park, located just off Route 8 \u2014 has opened up the possibility for new clients. \u201cThere are a lot of other companies here that need our services,\u201d Peralta said.<\/p>\n

Beyond the convenient location, the new building allowed Peralta Design access to a large conference room in which to meet with clients. One of the reasons Peralta said the business outgrew the previous location was because of its lack of a proper conference room.<\/p>\n

As a company, Peralta Design puts a large focus on branding for companies. Therefore, it is no surprise that the new location of Peralta Design proudly showcases its brand to potential clients with an emphasis on its signature red color. The new conference room \u2014 \u201cBig Red\u201d as the company has named it \u2014 is what Peralta referred to as the showpiece of its recent grand reopening event. \u201cWe pride ourselves in good branding,\u201d Peralta said. \u201cWhen people come here, they\u2019re going to see a lot of red.\u201d But beyond seeing the conference room, Peralta said he believes it\u2019s important people meet the staff, as well. Currently, Peralta Design has six full-time employees, one part-time employee and two interns.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want people to meet the team,\u201d Peralta said. \u201cEveryone here has been with us for at least five years so it\u2019s good for clients to connect faces and names and see that we are in it for the long haul, that we\u2019re people in your community here to help.\u201d<\/p>\n
