Homecoming:
The Ultimate Reunion
Homecoming is our largest annual reunion, marketing, and fundraising
event, bringing over 20,000 students, alumni, and guests together to
celebrate our legacy. Our 2024 Homecoming, “Pirates Island,” was a
signature multi-day experience that created a vibrant, intergenerational
connection. This massive convergence boosts the local economy and
affirms the university’s role as a major cultural hub.
Reunion Weekend: A Timeless Tradition
Hampton University’s Reunion Weekend is a lively annual event where hundreds of
alumni return to celebrate graduation milestones and reconnect. The weekend’s
festivities are a vibrant blend of nostalgia and celebration. This year, alumni from
milestone years (10, 15, 20, etc.), including the 50-year Emeritus class, came
together to reminisce and revel in their #HamptonPride.
