Class Legacy and Giving Totals:
Upholding a Timeless Tradition
Hampton University’s class names, a tradition since 1969, are a source of
pride and identity that fuel our annual class giving totals. From Ogre Phi Ogre
to Radiance, Dynasty, Quintessence, and Onyx, these names are a unique way
for each class to distinguish themselves. This tradition directly contributes to
the incredible generosity seen in the class giving totals listed below, which are
broken down by individual gifts (IG), matching gifts (MG), and overall total.

Celebrating an incredible milestone for our "home by the sea."
At Reunion Weekend, the Emeritus Class presented Hampton
University with a historic gift of $2,451,220.38. This monumental
contribution, presented by our alumni, is a testament to
the power of giving back and provides a powerful financial
foundation for our future.
