The expansion of Hampton U Online reflects the University’s strategic
investments in technology, faculty expertise, and innovative program design,
positioning it among the nation’s top and most affordable online education
providers. Through a growing portfolio of flexible degree options, students can
now pursue a streamlined one-year MBA, a Master of Science in Nursing, and
several doctoral programs designed to meet the demands of today’s global
workforce. Hampton’s distinguished faculty play a vital role in delivering a
high-quality, personalized learning experience that upholds the University’s

The Fall 2024 launch of the School of Religion, the first of
its kind at an HBCU to offer a Ph.D. in Public Theology and
Community Engagement, marks a milestone that unites
spiritual insight with scholarly excellence. The School’s
alignment with the historic Ministers Conference provides a
powerful platform for national visibility and future fundraising,
while alumni have already contributed $36,925 in direct
gifts to advance its mission. During this year’s conference,
attendees were offered a sneak peek into plans for the
Hampton University Religious Studies Center, envisioned
as a sacred space for thought leadership and community
development. The Center represents the next frontier in the
University’s academic and fundraising strategy.
